Game Recap

MINERVA Northwest's Evan Bach finished with 225 yards rushing on 25 carries and two touchdowns as the Indians won a game featuring more than 500 combined rushing yards.
Bach rushed in from 1 yard out for a score and then tacked on the 2-point conversion to make it 8-7 Northwest in the first quarter. Minerva then took the lead back on a Troy Summers 29-yard TD run.
The Indians went ahead midway through the second quarter for good with a Bach 90-yard TD run and a Jon Semelsberger 2-point conversion.
Other scores for Northwest included a 1-yard TD run by Mitch Lewis and a 2-yard run by Bryan Jones.
Summers led the Lions with 105 yards rushing and 83 yards passing he also had a 20-yard TD pass to Josh Fick and had a 15-yard TD run. Drew Prendergast added a 59-yard TD run.
